ISO 9001

In 1992, Draka Elevator Products' Rocky Mount facility was assessed and registered by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited for ISO 9001, EN ISO 9001 and ANSI/ASQC Q9001 for application design to meet customer requirements for the manufacture of elevator traveling and hoistway cables, compensating cables and escalator cables. In October of 2009, Draka successfully completed the transition to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001

With our customers' growing concern for environmental and quality issues, we have formalized our strength in these areas by registering our facility for ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 certification. You can expect Draka to continue our efforts to maintain and further contribute to our health, environmental and safety improvement efforts, while maintaining our world-renown quality.

UL Listed

Cables made for use within the United States meet all pertinent requirements of Underwriter's Laboratories. We were first certified for round traveling cable (ETT) in 1964 and for Super-Duct® hoistway cable (EHC) in 1972.

CSA Certified

Cables made for use within the Dominion of Canada meet all pertinent requirements of the Canadian Standards Association. We first received CSA certification in 1976. We are also a certified CSA retest facility.

NEC Compliant

Cables made for use within the United States meet all pertinent requirements of the 2011 National Electric Code.
