New Product Announcement: Draka Sure-Stop™ Rope Brake

Draka Elevator Products, Inc. announces the Draka Sure-Stop™ Rope Brake for distribution in North America. This electro-mechanical rope brake employs a very simple 6-wire hookup (2 for power, 2 for elevator controller to control brake, 2 for rope brake to elevator controller). The brake is powered by 220/240VAC 50/60Hz.

• Smaller footprint than competitor's units - fits virtually any installation;
• Single piece design - no separate hydraulic unit is required so there is no possibility of leaks and no additional maintenance;
