Asia Pacific Personnel Announcement

Today, Hu Wenxuan (Walter Hu) joins Draka Elevator Products, Inc. as our Asia Pacific General Manager. He will be responsible for general collective health of the region focused on sales and business development. He lives in Suzhou, but will have an office at our factories in Nantong. When Walter is not at the office, he will be traveling around the region visiting customers and working with our sales teams.

The addition of Walter's position completes our plan for worldwide regional management. He joins his counterparts, Domenico DeBiase of Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Jean Pierre Lapointe of Americas. Together, our worldwide sales teams are organized and report to Sterrett Lloyd, COO & Managing Director, who is based out of our Rocky, Mount, North Carolina, USA Headquarters office.

Walter has much experience in the elevator industry. Most recently, he managed sales and business development at Otis (Express Elevator) based in Suzhou, China. After his one month internship in America, Walter will return to Asia where he will begin developing this business. We are happy to have Walter join the Draka team.
